Anyone that has traveled in the South of Namibia would have come across a typical sight like this - a Sociable Weaver Nest. Sociable Weavers use and maintain the nests throughout the year. They nest in colonies as small as 10 individuals and up to 400-500 birds. Their nests are instantly recognizable, massive and resembling huge apartment blocks.
There is something very interesting about this picture - Can anyone spot what it is?
